Despite not having won a Super Bowl in almost 30 years, the Dallas Cowboys are still the most valuable franchise in sports.
The Cowboys top the list of sports clubs valued at $9.2 billion, according to Sportico’s list. Second-placed Golden State Warriors are valued at $8.3 billion. This is followed in order of value by the New York Knicks ($7.4 billion), Los Angeles Lakers ($7.3 billion), and New York Yankees ($7.1 billion).

American clubs make up the top 12 and 18 of the 20 most valuable teams. In terms of valuation, the NFL eclipses all other competitors.

The top 100 most valuable sports teams in the world cover 6 sports and 10 leagues around the world.
They are collectively worth $405 billion, including team-related businesses and real estate held by owners.

The richest league in the world is home to twelve of the twenty most valuable teams. The only two NFL clubs outside of the top 50 are the Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 51) and Cincinnati Bengals (No. 53).
The list contains some intriguing valuations. Small-market NBA teams like the Charlotte Hornets and Minnesota Timberwolves are valued higher than the New York Mets.
It was also somewhat unexpected that the Bengals were the NFL team with the lowest valuation.
