The timing of LeBron’s decision to team up with Redick for a podcast raised eyebrows, especially considering Draymond Green had already extended an invitation to LeBron for his show. This move left Green feeling snubbed and disrespected by LeBron, igniting tension between the two NBA stars.
The Warriors forward, who is close friends with the Lakers star, shared his feelings on the ‘Mind the Game’ podcast, just a day after Reddick and James’ first ever recorded conversation came out on Tuesday.
‘I’m excited to check it out!’ Green said at first, before adding: ‘I must say I’m a little upset LeBron is going on a podcast and still hasn’t been on the Draymond Green Show…
‘But when it’s your own thing you kinda can’t say anything…’
Earlier on his podcast, Green said that mostly ‘basketball nerds’ will enjoy James and Reddick’s chatter because they’ll mainly focus on the X’s and O’s of basketball.
Still, he isn’t too pleased that after three years of launching his own show, James still hasn’t hit him up to feature on it.
But, the 34-year-old, four-time NBA champ is willing to turn a blind eye to his buddy’s no-show for the time being.
‘I’ll live with it now,’ Green said. ‘Pick them bone with him that I gotta pick with him later!’
