The Milwaukee Bucks may be a little concerned about Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s availability for tonight’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The injury list for tonight’s Fiserv Forum matchup between the top seeds now includes Antetokounmpo. The Greek athlete’s “left hamstring tendinopathy” is still causing him pain.
The most recent NBA injury report indicates that Antetokounmpo’s availability for the OKC game is “Probable.” Giannis is anticipated to play tonight in the same uniform as he did in the Brooklyn Nets victory on Thursday.
Giannis finished with 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists in his 35 minutes on the court as the Bucks defeated Brooklyn 115-108. Therefore, it’s possible that the Greek Freak won’t be subject to any minute limitations for tonight’s match from his side.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and his importance to Bucks
Fans shouldn’t be shocked, though, if Milwaukee chooses to rest their star player for the contest. With the Boston Celtics more than 11 games ahead of them in the East, the Bucks are essentially guaranteed to finish in second place. Thus, they have no justification for needlessly jeopardizing the health of their superstar before to the postseason.
Having played 65 games so far this season, Antetokounmpo has demonstrated amazing resiliency. He struggled greatly earlier in the season with tendinitis in his left Achilles tendon, which had raised questions about his availability for the March 4 game against the Clippers. However, the 29-year-old has continued to thrive ever since.
This season, the Bucks are 17–18 away from home and don’t have many reliable choices outside of their core players. Despite playing well throughout the season, this casts question on their team’s true depth and ability to respond strategically. Milwaukee’s chances of making the playoffs would hinge on their capacity to handle these problems and assemble a reliable group of guys to assist their key players when the action slows down during the postseason.
