Marcus Jordan recently threw some shade at his ex, Larsa Pippen, after she shared their reasons for breaking up on Instagram. In response to her post, he called out the move as “rewriting history for clout is not cute.”
The public spat between these two former lovebirds has caught the attention of social media users everywhere. With Marcus’s blunt comment, it seems like there might be more drama to unfold in this celebrity breakup saga.
The 33-year-old seemed to be calling out Pippen, 49, on Tuesday, posting a message about how ‘rewriting history for clout’ was not ‘cute.’
Marcus and Larsa split for good earlier this month after less than two years of dating.
She had recently revealed she realized Marcus wasn’t her ‘guy’ after she spent time away from him, giving her clarity on their relationship.
Marcus’ Instagram Story, which was ultimately deleted, began: ‘I wasn’t born last night.
‘Rewriting history for clout is not cute. Funny how ppl change, just to be part of a conversation that’s irrelevant.
‘Why give shorty a heart, when she rather have press. Ooooohhh thats that nerve lol.’
It comes after Larsa provided an explanation as to why she and Marcus split for good.
The reality star and former best friend of Kim Kardashian sat down with Amy Robach and TJ Holmes for their podcast, Amy & TJ on iheartRadio.
She explained that she realized Marcus wasn’t her ‘guy’ after she spent time away from him, giving her clarity on their relationship.
Larsa noted that she believes Marcus and herself are on ‘different journey’s and that it it not age related, despite the fact that she is 49 and he is 33.
Larsa said she was filming the reality show House of Villains on E! when she reflected on their on/off relationship.
‘You know, I feel like I just finished. I just wrapped up shooting the show, and I spent time away from him and everyone else. I was there for like two weeks, and it just kind of gave me clarity when I was alone,’ she said on the podcast.
‘And I think when you’re alone, you kind of really miss the person or you realize maybe you aren’t my guy, and that made me realize, I don’t think he’s my guy.’
She continued: ‘I just think we are on a different journey and I feel like I have to be true to who I am, what I’m doing, and what he’s doing.’
‘I want him to be happy, he’s a great guy, but I just don’t feel like it’s for me.’
Larsa was asked if she thinks age was a factor in their split: ‘I don’t think it’s the age. It’s just where we are right now.
‘It’s hard sometimes to break up because you are so used to living with the person, we had our podcast together, we worked together, I had him on Housewives.’
The mom of four also added that she is single.
The public spectacle surrounding Larsa and Marcus’ split has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride, with revelations and social media frenzy adding fuel to the fire. In all this breakup drama, remember that not everything is as it seems in the world of influencers and celebrities.
