Paul Rudd is still ecstatic about his personal hug from Travis Kelce on the field, even though Taylor Swift’s endearing embrace with Kelce following his Super Bowl victory may have been the buzz of the town.
Rudd, a devoted longtime fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, was on the field with the squad on February 11 following their exciting 25-22 overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Rudd, 54, discussed his high level of concern throughout the game while talking about the victory with MTV News on Thursday.
He said,
“If I did help the win at all, it was because I didn’t mess with all of the things that I had set around because I’m superstitious. And I think the collective superstitions of all fans probably helped contribute to that win,” “But you know, I’m a big fan of that team and I have been my whole life.”
Paul Rudd speaks about Hugging Travis Kelce
Paul was ecstatic after Chiefs won the Super Bowl and he got to hug Travis Kelce. He said,
“When they won, it was pure elation. It really is truly the greatest feeling,” “And I was there with my kid and he’s feeling the same way, and to share that with him…” “Travis Kelce is the greatest guy, he really is,”
“He’s been involved in a charity of ours in Kansas City for years and years … And then to get to hug Travis Kelce right after a Super Bowl win. It just makes no sense. It’s unreal.”
After accompanying his 13-year-old daughter Darby to one of Swift’s Eras Tour stops outside of New York City, Rudd also declared himself to be a devoted admirer of the girlfriend of Kelce. Rudd concurred that he is a Swiftie himself, dispelling the notion that he is only a “proxy” fan because of his children.
