Josh Johnson’s career so far
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, Washington, New York Jets, Baltimore, and San Francisco 49ers are among the teams that Johnson has played for in the NFL. The San Diego product has also played for the Los Angeles Wildcats of the XFL and the San Diego Fleet of the Alliance of American Football.
Johnson re-joins Lamar Jackson and Malik Cunninghan’s quarterback room. As of right now, Tyler Huntley is unrestricted.
In the 2022 playoffs, Johnson made his NFL regular season debut as a substitute for an injured Brock Purdy against the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship game. Famously, Johnson’s concussion forced him out of the game and left the 49ers without a healthy quarterback.
