Did you know that the majority of people believe age is just a number? Cougar Draya Michele is no stranger to this sentiment. In the world of celebrity romance, age gaps often spark controversy, but Draya isn’t letting critics rain on her parade. With a sassy clapback and unwavering confidence, she’s setting the record straight on her love life with 22-year-old Jalen Green.
Draya Michele’s relationship has faced scrutiny due to the substantial difference in age between her and her partner, NBA star Jalen Green. Critics raise concerns about power dynamics and long-term compatibility.
After Draya came out and revealed she and Jalen were expecting a baby, she hit back at critics saying;
“Get comfortable being misunderstood. Only a fraction of people will be able to truly grasp your essence. You are not on anyone else’s timeline of comprehension. Also, it’s none of your business how others choose to perceive you. Most High sees you clearly – let that be enough.”
The 17-year age difference between Green and Draya has been the topic of conversation since her announcement. Add that to the fact that the model’s son is the same age as the baller — who signed a $40.8 million Adidas deal in 2021 — and let the dragging commence.
To be fair, Draya has never confirmed Green to be the father of her child. However, Washington Wizards star Kyle Kuzma took it upon himself to let people know the deets.
Remember, love knows no age, and if someone’s got their claws out for your relationship, just purr and strut your stuff like the fierce cougar you are! Embrace your curves and age with confidence – after all, age is just a number, right?
