The Jets are no strangers to bad luck (see Aaron Rodgers from last season as proof). For this reason, when standout CB Sauce Gardner shared a photo with Drake, Gang Green supporters went into complete panic, thinking the infamous Drizzy Curse will haunt them in ’24!

The young Pro Bowl player, however, is making every effort to allay the fans’ concerns by claiming that he is truly employing the Drake Curse to destroy the other 31 NFL clubs.

The lockdown corner wrote on X, “I told Drake that he should bet on all other 31 teams each week.”

Sauce made this comment when fans of the Jets became alarmed upon viewing the photo containing the rapper, the CB, and Odell Beckham Jr.
Drake, of course, is no stranger to jinxing the teams and athletes he cheers for. In what was perhaps the biggest upset of the whole tournament, Drizzy’s favorite college basketball club, Kentucky, lost to 14-seeded Oakland in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
Before the tournament began, he also backed Houston, who were ranked first; despite UH’s run to the Sweet 16, they ultimately fell to Duke.
To be fair to Drake, he has long been a fan of the Toronto Raptors. Aubrey attended every home game from his courtside seats when the team earned an NBA title in 2019. All all, though, a number of his teams have suffered crushing defeats.
