It was shocking that O.J. Simpson passed away on Wednesday night because, less than two months prior, he had made a totally different statement regarding his condition.
Just two months before passing away on Wednesday at the age of 76, the former running back for the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers stated in a video that his health was getting better.
Only a few weeks after beginning treatment, Simpson, who gained notoriety for being cleared of the double homicide of his ex-wife and her friend Ron Goldman, passed away due to symptoms from prostate cancer, as revealed by his family.
On February 11, O.J. Simpson seemed positive in a tweet on his official X account, saying,
“Let me take a moment to say thank you to all the people who’ve reached out to me. My health is good, I think. I mean, obviously, I am dealing with some issues, but hey, I think I’m just about over it, and I’ll be back on that golf course, hopefully, in a couple of weeks.”

OJ Simpson made his Super Bowl prediction on that video as well. He thought the 49ers would win, but as we all know, they would end up losing.
It was widely known in that February that O.J. Simpson had received a prostate cancer diagnosis, was starting chemotherapy, and was receiving hospice care.
It was two days prior to his most recent video.
