It’s no secret that Patrick Mahomes loves the Dallas Mavericks, and his wife Brittany Mahomes just gave this even more attention on social media. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback’s forecast was incorrect as the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-105.
Mahomes had expected a stumble in Game 1 against the Timberwolves prior to the game.
On the First Things First program, he said:
“We’ll lose tonight for sure…but when I come back after Memorial Day, the Mavs will be up 2-1,”
Brittany Mahomes captured the event, revealing her husband’s delight for his beloved basketball team despite his incorrect forecast.
She posted glimpses of her husband’s passion for the team on her official Instagram account.
Brittany shared a picture of Mahomes in their home theater, watching the Mavericks playoff game. He appeared to be fully focused as he watched the game up close on the TV.
With a caption, she wrote,

Mahomes has already stated how much he admires the players on the club. He acknowledged that Luka Doncic’s outstanding performances had had a big influence on him.
Doncic’s 39-point performance against the Hornets was a masterclass, and Mahomes called him “MVP” on his X account.
He shared his observations on Kyrie Irving and complimented Doncic on the player’s performance. Mahomes thinks the Mavericks have as good a chance as anyone to win it all if Doncic and Irving perform to the best of their abilities.
