Bronny James Names Jrue Holiday, Davion Mitchell And Derrick White As NBA Players He Looks Up To

Bronny James, son of NBA legend LeBron James, is quickly making a name for himself in the basketball world. The young star has already gained attention for his impressive skills and work ethic, and it seems like he’s taking notes from some of the best in the game.

Recently, Bronny revealed that he looks up to players like Jrue Holiday, Davion Mitchell, and Derrick White. These choices may come as a surprise to some, considering they are not the biggest names in the league, but it just goes to show that Bronny is paying attention to all aspects of the game and taking inspiration from a variety of players.

When speaking to the media during his combine interviews, Bronny admitted that the amount of coverage he’s received has been “a lot.” James was asked by reporters about what current NBA players he thinks his own skill set is most comparable to, and he offered a trio of guards in response.

Bronny told reporters that he likens himself to guys such as Jrue Holiday, Davion Mitchell and Derrick White, and thinks he can affect winning in a similar fashion to how those three do, according toESPN’s Jamal Collier.

Holiday and White are teammates on the Boston Celtics, and they make for one of the most aggressive and irritating backcourt tandems with their relentless defensive pressure. Both are capable shooters from outside and comfortable on the ball. Mitchell fits a similar billing for the Sacramento Kings, though he has a lesser role.

James entered the draft after his freshman season at USC, which was delayed after he went into cardiac arrest during a summer practice. After being cleared to play, he featured in 25 games for the Trojans and averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.

With his dedication and talent, it’s only a matter of time before Bronny James becomes a household name in the basketball world. And if he can continue to emulate players like Jrue Holiday, Davion Mitchell, and Derrick White, there’s no telling how far he can go in the game. It’s a matter of time!
