Did you hear about the scandalous news swirling around a former teacher at Lamar CISD? It seems that this former educator was caught red-handed filming adult videos on campus during school hours. Can you believe it? Talk about a major breach of professional conduct!
Word on the street is that this teacher was using school hours to shoot these explicit videos. I mean, come on, that’s just plain inappropriate and downright disrespectful. Not to mention the fact that it sets a terrible example for the students who look up to educators as role models.
It’s shocking to think that someone who was entrusted with the education and well-being of students would stoop to such levels. The school district must be reeling from this scandal, and parents must be outraged and horrified to learn about this disturbing behavior.
Houston community leaders Quanell X and Candice Matthews held a press conference where they claimed a former teacher at Adriane Mathews Gray Elementary School was seen in two explicit videos engaging in explicit behavior in a school classroom and restroom during school hours.
According to them, the woman was seen on video wearing her school ID badge.
The school reported the teacher was no longer employed at the campus but not because of this incident.
Lamar CISD officials and authorities were notified of the video and said an investigation would be opened.
We contacted Lamar CISD for an official statement and received this:
This afternoon, the district received copies of two videos of a former employee allegedly recorded on school property. The videos were provided by a citizen. Our officers have opened an investigation and, upon initial review, do not believe that children were present during the filming of the videos. However, the investigating officer is working to verify the timestamp and circumstances surrounding the recordings.
If the district finds that criminal behavior or conduct violating the Texas Administrative Code Educator’s Code of Ethics has occurred, we will engage with the appropriate reporting agencies.
Let’s hope that justice is served in this case and that steps are taken to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. The safety and well-being of students should always be the top priority in any educational institution, and we must hold those in positions of power accountable for their actions.
