Given their striking similarity in appearance and voice, Anthony Edwards and Michael Jordan have long been suspected of being related. A particular video that went viral recently appears to confirm that the star is, in fact, the son of the Chicago great, but this has frequently been written off as nothing more than a wild notion. Is it true, though?
The combo guard is heard in the aforementioned video telling the media that he held up the number seven to indicate his desire to surpass his “father,” Michael Jordan, in the number of rings he won. Ant said,
“The real reason I held up 7, it’s because I’m getting 7 rings to surpass my father. I got that MJ chromosome inside me, I’m about to eat some good chicken nuggets Sunday night,”

Initially, it appears that Ant is actually making the claims that are being questioned. It’s important to remember, though, that this is a phony film that was created by AI.
When one looks closely, one can clearly see that Ant’s mouth movement and the words don’t exactly match up. Furthermore, ‘The NBA Centel,’ a well-known parody X (formerly “Twitter”) account, posted the video. Additionally, as can be seen in the comments section, this has also been brought up by other people.
Nevertheless, even though Ant and “His Airness” are unrelated, their commonalities will probably only foster comparisons till the end of time.
