It appears the drama surrounding Rashee Rice just took a major plot twist! According to the cops, the alleged assault victim who is a photographer has had a change of heart and no longer wants to press charges against the Kansas City Chiefs star.
What happened behind closed doors for this sudden change of mind? Well, it’s good news for Rashee Rice as he is likely not to be going back and forth with the law anymore.
The photographer first alleged that Rice clocked him during an altercation outside of Lit Kitchen in Dallas on May 6 … but the DPD said in a statement he recently signed an affidavit of non-prosecution.
It doesn’t necessarily mean Rice is now in the clear — the DPD said a probe into the allegations is still moving forward — although a case against the NFLer now no doubt got substantially more difficult to prove.
It’s obviously good news for Rice … but the 2023 second-round pick is still facing criminal charges stemming from his role in the wild car crash on a Dallas expressway back in March.
The alleged assault victim no longer wants to press charges against Rashee Rice and it’s all good. This development may have various reasons behind it, but it’s important to respect their decision. It’s a reminder that things can change, and it’s essential to handle sensitive situations with care and understanding.
