Russell Westbrook has something to say. It’s loud and clear.
With all of their stars healthy and competitive all season long, the Los Angeles Clippers had one of the most promising seasons in recent history. James Harden was also added by the Clippers. Unfortunately, though, the Dallas Mavericks eliminated the squad from the playoffs after just one round.
The Clippers lost the series 4-2 after they were unable to overcome the Dallas Mavericks and Luka Doncic hump. And after they were eliminated early from the NBA playoffs in 2023–24, there was once again doubt over the franchise’s future.
There were whispers circulating that former MVP Russell Westbrook was dissatisfied with the club and his position on it.
Russell Westbrook takes to IG to quash rumors
There were reports that Russell Westbrook intended to depart the Clippers organization just hours after the team was eliminated from the playoffs. He ended any discussion about it by sharing a statement on his Instagram stories for everyone.
He initially claimed that “sources” were continually making up stories. After that He concluded his answer with the following statement regarding his connection to the Los Angeles Clippers.
“I for one enjoyed my year, and worked hard to bring the energy, and provide a spark for our team with each opportunity I was given. Well, I felt that I was and remain more than willing to take on new roles, and make certain sacrifices in hope that it would make our team better… hoped for a different outcome, but I also enjoyed being in the trenches with my teammates this year who have all been supportive of me throughout the season… hope to come back better, stronger, and remain eager to take on any role that continues to put us in the best position to win next season! – Russ.”

This past season, Russell Westbrook gave it his best. He said that he was willing to take on a new position in order to improve the squad. Brodie stated that he wants to return stronger and better to help his team win.
While the Clippers may not have advanced past the first round this season, there has been a great deal of optimism, and some believe that this group may do amazing things in the future.
