Skip Bayless Not Convinced of JJ Redick and Claims LeBron James Is Heavily Influencing the Deal

The Los Angeles Lakers‘ search for a new head coach has become melodramatic. We get a new turn to the story every week. While some people are busy figuring out who is the puppet master of the performance, others assert to have inside information about JJ Redick‘s confirmation for the HC job. In a recent “UNDISPUTED” broadcast, Skip Bayless said that LeBron James would ultimately decide whether to support his pal JJ Redick or not. He said,

“I know that Rich Paul keeps saying publicly that LeBron has nothing to do with any of this process, but I’m sorry, his fingerprints are all over JJ.”

He made fun of the idea that Redick would even be considering himself for such a prestigious job if it weren’t for his relationship with LeBron.

Skip Bayless questions JJ Redick’s credibility if not for LeBron James

It appears that Redick’s career has already benefited greatly from Mind the Game Pod.

The analyst also mentioned how much the two podcast co-hosts love basketball and how their discussions about it are of the highest caliber. He declared,

“I’m sure LeBron has been extremely impressed with his [Redick’s] knowledge.”

Despite Redick’s exceptional grasp of the game, Bayless isn’t sure if accepting the HC position will be the best course of action. He declared,

“I’ve said it before, this feels disastrous for JJ.”

The seasoned media veteran claimed that due of the dynamics at the camp, Redick might have psychological effects from his work. Either way, it’s the Lakers. Who wouldn’t want to lead one of the most successful teams? In addition, a number of commentators have even proclaimed Redick to be the team’s new head coach.
