One recent date night in Margate, New Jersey, turned bizarre when Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie Kelce encountered a fan.
Michael Collins, the mayor of the city, issued a formal apology following the event, which was documented on social media. Pat McAfee commended Kylie for standing up to the crazy woman.
The angry woman refused to have Kelces in her community
The public-loved Kelces were out for a nice evening when a female fan came up to ask for a picture. The couple graciously declined, and the fan’s actions soon became hostile.
As they waited for a parking space in the Steve & Cookies by the Sea parking lot, the woman reportedly started pounding on the window of Kelce’s Tesla.
Things became worse when the Kelces turned down the request for a picture.
Margarate Major apologized in public
The mayor of Margate formally apologized to the Kelces for the event. The statement read,
“On behalf of the City of Margate, I’d like to formally apologize to Jason & Kylie Kelce for the experience they had in Margate City over the holiday weekend,
“As a father with young children, I know as well as anyone the importance of a date night with your wife and would like to offer a redo date night with dinner on me.”
The Kelces were still able to salvage their evening in spite of the hectic incident. Although the pair was greeted by a number of people, Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin was purportedly the only noteworthy guest, however this information is still unverified.
A wave of support for the Kelces was generated by the incident, with many people applauding Kylie Kelce for refusing to back down. She confronted the fan, who looked to be inebriated, according to a video of the altercation.
