Despite the loss, Edwards had some insightful thoughts on the team’s performance and what they can work on moving forward. According to him;

”I never think the sky is falling. I’m always positive. I’m always happy. I’ve been through the worst, so the sky is never falling for me.”

The Minnesota Timberwolves fell to the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night, and are now one loss away from elimination. No team in NBA history has ever overcome a 3-0 deficit, and that is what the Timberwolves now face. It has been a solid run for Minnesota, but it seems to be coming to an end in the Western Conference Finals.
Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has not played his best basketball in this series, which is one of the biggest reasons his team has yet to win a game. When asked what stands out to him in the Game 3 box score, Edwards pointed to the free throw disparity in this game, as the Mavericks shot 31 free throws and the Timberwolves shot just 17.
Edwards finished with 26 points, but it took him 24 shots to get there, and he also turned the ball over five times. Karl-Anthony Towns missed all eight of his three point attempts, and was just 5/18 from the field overall. For the Timberwolves, and any team at this stage, everything starts and ends with their best players.
