Smart businessman Dana White wants to use what he learned at the UFC in his newest company, PowerSlap. In spite of all the criticism and anger directed towards the sport, White recently asserted that PowerSlap was outperforming all other sports worldwide by a factor of four. Is it, though?
Dana White revealed some astounding statistics about his new business on a podcast with “Sebastian Maniscalco” that sound too fantastic to be true.
“It is bigger than the NHL, it’s bigger than the PGA, NASCAR, we’re about to pass MLB as far as numbers go. When you talk about numbers, the views on this thing, take every sport on earth, combine all their numbers together, and multiply it by four PowerSlap beats it. It got so much negativity here in the United States, it was incredible, I loved the negativity. There’s 8 billion people on earth, and this thing became a global sport overnight.”
Both fans and critics have consistently criticized PowerSlap. Most people agree that the sport causes significant brain damage and doesn’t require a lot of skill.
There are no defense measures in place, unlike boxing or mixed martial arts, so competitors must suffer blow after blow to the head. But new reports indicate that Dana White is not the only one who has a strong PowerSlap belief.
