It was not a good day to be a White Sox fan on Sunday, when one of their supporters was brutally attacked during a brawl in a festival pit while the MLB team was being thrashed by the Diamondbacks.
The wild altercation took place at Illinois’ SeatGeek Stadium during Summer Smash, a three-day event featuring Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, and Chief Keef as the main acts.

A teenage Sox fan wearing a gray Chicago jersey got into a fight with a man wearing a pink shirt who was standing on the other side of a barricade, according to footage from the situation.
It’s unclear why the gentlemen were at odds, but a straight right hand knocked the CWS fan to the ground moments into the fight.
For some reason, the White Sox fan sought to get back into the battle as he staggered to his feet, only to be flattened again by a barrage of slaps and a powerful blow.
The man ultimately stood back up, and the audience cheered as he eventually left after exchanging a few words.
Conversely, the White Sox’s performance in their Sunday matchup against Arizona wasn’t any better, falling to the Snakes 12-5.
The Chicago Sky also suffered a loss on Sunday, despite the fact that star player Angel Reese seemed to enjoy her time at Summer Smash.
