Tom Brady is usually the first person to spring to mind when discussing NFL greatness. His record stands as he has won seven Super Bowls, multiple comeback triumphs, and a plethora of passing records. That Brady is the best quarterback to have ever played the position is a matter of opinion, though.
The Money Down Podcast, which is hosted by James White, Sojourn Shelton, and Warren Herring, had a shocking revelation from former Patriots wide receiver Phillip Dorsett. Former Brady teammate Dorsett stated that he truly thought Andrew Luck was the best quarterback he had ever seen. Dorsett played with Brady from 2017 to 2019.
Former #Colts and #Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett says Andrew Luck is the most talented QB he has ever played with.
“I always say this to everybody. People ask me, because they know I played with Tom (Brady), ‘who was the best quarterback you played with?’…
To be honest, when it… pic.twitter.com/GI2TZTQMIM

Dorsett said,
“People ask me all the time because they know I played with Tom Brady,” . “They say, ‘Who was the best quarterback you played with?’ I always tell them, ‘To be honest with you, talent-wise, it was Andrew Luck, for sure.’ Andrew was different – a natural-born leader. Even when he was young, he carried himself like a seasoned vet.”
“Luck was tough as hell, athletic. Bro, when you watch him play basketball, you’d think, ‘Damn, this man is really an all-around athlete.’ He had a strong arm, was smart, and was accurate. It’s just injuries, bro. It’s football.”
Luck startled the NFL world by announcing his retirement in 2019 at the age of 29. Dorsett’s frank comments show that although Tom Brady’s feats are remarkable, skill and brilliance come in many forms, and Luck’s short but outstanding career made a big impression.
