Guess Who Jake Paul Will Fight After Mike Tyson Match Got Postponed

Even though Jake Paul won’t be going up against Mike Tyson on July 20, he already has a rival.

As to TMZ Sports, Paul is scheduled to face Mike Perry. The announcement follows the fight between the 27-year-old and Tyson being rescheduled when Tyson’s ulcer flared up while on a plane.

The bout, which is slated to happen at Tampa, Florida’s Amalie Arena on July 20, will be accessible on DAZN Pay-Per-View. Even though Paul won his last two fights against Andre August and Ryan Borland, it won’t be an easy fight.

Perry, the star of Bare Knuckle FC, made the switch to the company after a successful UFC career. Now the BKFC champion, he has triumphed over opponents like Eddie Alvarez and Luke Rockhold. Paul asserts that he is prepared to take on his new foe despite the challenge. He said,

“When Paul vs. Tyson was rescheduled, I knew immediately that I wanted to still fight on Saturday, July 20,” .

“Now, as I prepare for my fight against Iron Mike, there’s no better opponent for me than Mike Perry. He’s a proven knockout artist who has shown to be a maniac in and out of the ring. This is the perfect experience for me to gain in advance of facing Mike Tyson.

“But getting that experience comes with risk. Those who know me know I’m a risk taker and while ‘Platinum’ Perry might try to end me, I’m Titanium Jake Paul and I fear no man.”

Does Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson still take place?

Paul and Tyson will still square off in the ring on July 20, even though it won’t happen then. Even though the Dallas Cowboys have a home game a few days later, the fight will still take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Netflix will broadcast it. Mike Tyson said,

“Although we had to postpone the fight, I will resume training shortly.”

“I am thankful to the medical staff that treated me and to MVP, Netflix, and AT&T Stadium for working diligently to find the best reschedule date for all parties.”

“While we have a new date, the result will be the same no matter when we fight. Jake Paul is getting knocked out. On Friday, November 15, watch this in-person at AT&T Stadium or live on Netflix.”
