Magic Johnson Claims That One Person Will Determine LeBron James and Bronny’s Future

Magic Johnson claims that one significant NBA veteran’s choice might determine Bronny James‘s future in the league. Before retiring, LeBron James has long stated that he would like to play with his son; it appears that this goal will be fulfilled. Rich Paul, their agent, recently revealed that Bronny plans to enter the NBA draft. Still, there’s one more thing needed to make the father-son ideal come true.

Ahead of the action-comedy movie “Bad Boys: Ride or Die,” Magic Johnson made a suggestion that LeBron James‘s tenacity would be crucial to the success of this father-son team in the NBA.

Johnson gave an explanation. He said,

“I don’t know it. It could happen, you know. If LeBron wants it, it will happen,”

It’s important to remember that Johnson collaborated closely with the Los Angeles Lakers as President of Basketball Operations before leaving the position a year after LeBron joined the group. He will be more aware than most of James’ potential influence on roster construction and player acquisition.

Can Bronny James play in the NBA?

This scenario gives the Lakers star’s detractors more room. The criticism of Bronny’s subpar collegiate career has been around for a while, and it has gotten worse now that the 19-year-old is going to the NBA Draft.

In addition, Bronny turned down offers to train with ten different teams, a strange decision that has sparked rumors. Bronny is down to just two teams: the Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Lakers. Many have concluded that Bronny has already committed to joining the Lakers as a result of this. The USC Trojans standout is attracting interest from the Lakers, who are keen to bolster their roster. This could be a move to hold onto LeBron, who has a player option for the upcoming season.

Although many believe he would be more likely to re-sign in Los Angeles should his kid be on the team, LeBron may choose to opt out and negotiate a lengthier contract with the Lakers or another team. NFL star Shannon Sharpe, though, sees things differently. On “The Nightcap,” Sharpe chastised the Lakers for not being able to produce true stars while they were owned by Jeanie Buss.

Sharpe said, “Who have the Lakers developed? They didn’t develop Brandon Ingram, they didn’t develop Lonzo Ball… Julius Randle,”

He said that in order to help Bronny advance his growth as a player—many experts feel the young player needs considerable training on his core skills—LeBron and Rich Paul might urge him to look at other teams.
