Framing an all-time NBA roster is part and parcel of practically every barbershop talk. However, former NBA shooting guard, Tracy McGrady‘s Top 10 list generated quite a storm on social media because he missed Stephen Curry. Many players, experts, and fans raced to defend their beloved Golden State Warriors hero. Among them, was former NFL wide receiver, Keyshawn Johnson, who instantly shredded McGrady’s view by pointing to the seismic shift Curry brought to the game through his shooting.

On ‘UNDISPUTED‘, when defending Curry’s spot in the league’s top 10 argument, Johnson said,
“I disagree with T-Mac; I don’t know what Tracy is thinking…Steph Curry is not done, but when you start talking about 10-time All-Star, 10-time All NBA, four-time champion…he is gone to the Finals six times I think it is.”

Johnson cited Curry’s consensus MVP campaign in 2015–16 to support his claims. Despite their years of dominating the game, he claimed that no one, not even LeBron James or Michael Jordan, had ever achieved an unchallenged MVP like #30.
Johnson went on to say that “someone” had to give up their spot on the top-10 list in order to make room for Curry, and he identified Wilt Chamberlain as that “someone.” Since Chamberlain only won two titles in his 14-year career in the NBA and spent the majority of it being vanquished by Bill Russell and the Boston Celtics, the 51-year-old Johnson saw it as an easy choice.
Conversely, the former wide receiver acknowledges that he witnessed the impact of Chef Curry’s shooting and feels that it altered the game forever. Additionally, he disclosed that both of his children frequently attempt to pull up from half-court, just like Warriors player No. 30 does. He is not alone in his opinion, though.
