With her latest diss track, Megan Thee Stallion is taking Nicki Minaj by storm. She even utilizes TMZ as a punch line to make her point!
The newly titled album by Meg was published on Friday. It has a new snake-bite diss tune called “Rattle” along with her previously released No. 1 hit, “Hiss.”
Ain’t got no tea on me, this ho think she TMZ is the song’s chorus, which Meg gloats over. Later, she makes fun of Nicki’s home life with husband Kenneth Petty and their 3-year-old son.
Meg retaliated, saying she felt Nicki was wasting too much time:
“Damn, bitch, it’s been four years/ Worry ’bout your man and your kid/ Your life must be borin’ as f**k if you still reminiscing ’bout s**t that we did!!!
Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion have history
The words “tea” were written in direct response to Nicki’s warnings at the end of her MTS diss tune “Big Foot” earlier this year:
“You know I got a lotta tea I went easy on you.”
Meg and Nicki used to get along well; in 2019, they co-wrote the word “Hot Girl Summer” for a multiplatinum hit song with Ty Dolla $ign, but that phrase has since become Meg’s signature.
An other motive to keep the battle going is that she and GloRilla have extended the dates of their “Hot Girl Summer” tour. After completing her own “Pink Friday 2” tour, Nicki became the highest-grossing female rapper ever on tour!
