Pat McAfee Comments On Russell Wilson’s Viral Boxing Video

This off-season, Russell Wilson is making every effort to resurrect his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has been honing his footwork and throwing mechanics nonstop. Recently, a video of Russ working hard in the ring with his longtime teacher Freddie Roach, showcasing his athletic build and boxing prowess, went viral on social media. While Pat McAfee and his team were impressed, one member wasn’t so sure.

The Pat McAfee Show team talked about what the Steelers and Wilson have in store for the next season during a recent broadcast.

Russ’s dedication was appreciated, however Tone Digz called his performance from the previous season “trash” and felt he could have done better.

Wilson wasn’t horrible, according to Boston Connor, but he and Sean Payton had a falling out. Anthony DiGuilio, however, thought that the former quarterback for the Seahawks was releasing passes slowly and with poor accuracy.

The group thinks that Russ could finally turn things around under Mike Tomlin, especially with Brandon Aiyuk perhaps back in the mix. Speculation was stoked when Aiyuk was spotted driving past Levi’s Stadium with a Pirates cap on. While he waits for a new contract, he has been causing some trouble.

The 49ers and Aiyuk’s negotiations have reached a standstill, and a move may be imminent. Wilson’s ability to pass to both Pickens and Aiyuk might greatly improve the Steelers’ attack. They have enough budget space to make this transaction because both of their quarterbacks are on cheap contracts, which puts them in a strong financial position.

Many people find Russ’s composed and upbeat attitude annoying since they think it’s phony and only intended to blame others instead of confronting his shortcomings.
