Per Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk, Walker is transferring to Rice after spending the last three years at Brown. Walker will play wide receiver for the Owls, perhaps pushing himself closer to one day joining Patrick Mahomes in the pros.

Walker is the son of Pat Mahomes Sr., a former Major League Baseball pitcher whose career spanned from 1992 to 2003. Mahomes Sr. had Graham with Jessamyn Walker, who has primarily raised the child with partner Gerry Howatt (Graham’s stepfather).

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Walker recorded 44 receptions for 515 yards and six touchdowns in his final season at Brown. He had his best statistical season in 2021, recording 53 receptions for 658 yards and six scores.

All eyes are now on Graham Walker as he embarks on this new chapter in his football career. Will he be able to live up to the hype and follow in his brother’s footsteps? Only time will tell.
