Once more, Ryan Garcia is making headlines, but this time, for all the wrong reasons. In Beverly Hills, Garcia was taken into custody on Saturday night.
Vandalism is a felony that led to Garcia’s arrest. Police sources that TMZ contacted with claimed that the boxer had broken things at the Waldorf Astoria in Los Angeles.

Police officers brought the 25-year-old out in handcuffs while donning a helmet. Just a few days prior, while Garcia was lodging at the motel, a family member requested that the police check on him.
Before Garcia’s fight with Devin Haney, everyone was aware of his troubling behavior. His actions on social media caused everyone to worry about his safety. Garcia said after the battle that he smoked and drank every day before the bout, even though most of it was exaggerated. Subsequently, it was discovered that he had tested positive for a prohibited drug, potentially rendering his victory void.
It’s looking more and more like Garcia may have a drinking problem. In order to get himself back on track, both personally and professionally, he’ll probably need to seek outside assistance.
