In the world of professional sports, drama, and controversy are never far behind. This time, it’s NBA star Jaylen Brown who has found himself in the middle of a heated debate after being left off the Team USA Olympics squad. What makes this story even more intriguing is Brown’s response to Team USA’s managing director Grant Hill, who suggested there might be a conspiracy behind Brown’s exclusion from the team.
According to Hill, Brown’s exclusion was purely a basketball decision and nothing else but then Brown wasn’t okay with Hill’s conspiracy theory claims and had to fire back.
According to Hill;
“I spoke to (Brown’s) agent. I don’t know if that was before or after things went out on Twitter. But yeah, I think this idea that there’s a conspiracy theory — I always love a good conspiracy theory, but it was really truly a basketball decision and these are tough decisions. But having gone through this with the FIBA competition, you want to find the right balance and the right pieces on the court that we needed.”
And this is what Brown also posted on X as a response to Hill’s conspiracy theory claims.
“Grant Hill calling me a conspiracy theorist is disappointing. I’ve been a VP since I was 21 years old I have a great understanding.”
The controversy surrounding Jaylen Brown’s exclusion from the Team USA Olympics squad has captured the attention of basketball fans worldwide.
