Lil Wayne Has Faith That Bronny James Can Improve With The “Real” Lakers Team

Bronny James has faced criticism from other players in the league. He was chosen by the Lakers as the 55th overall in the NBA draft of 2024. There are ridiculously high expectations for Bronny, even if he might not be as tall and athletic as his father. Lil Wayne, an odd supporter, has gone to the rookie’s rescue as he battles to establish himself in the NBA.

Undisputed had the five-time Grammy winner as a special guest. Tunechi, who is with Paul Pierce, Skip Bayless, and Keyshawn Johnson, has not given up on the former USC Trojan.

“When I watch (Bronny), I always think about him being on the court with the real team. And imagine what he can—When I watch what he can do and imagine that being contributed to the real team. I believe that will be heightened, also something we can use.”

Lil Wayne speaks about Bronny James’s pottential

Wheezy’s viewpoint is that Bronny has a great chance of succeeding if he plays with the starting lineup of the Lakers.

“But also, I wanna see once he starts practicing with the real team. I wanna see what that produces. Cause right now, he still looks like he’s still just playing with the USC.”

The main team is full of veterans, and Wayne believes that their experience will help Bronny grow his game in a manner that the younger players on the Summer League squad just cannot. The Summer League team is made up of players who are in their rookie and sophomore years.
