Tyreek Hill Disagrees With Michael Johnson’s Assessment of WR’s Running Ability

With his lightning-fast speed and unparalleled agility, Tyreek Hill has earned the moniker “The Cheetah.” His recent designation by Michael Johnson as the NFL player with the potential to be a track and field great shone even more focus on him. The legendary American track and field athlete complimented Hill’s speed, mindset, and self-assurance while also providing a healthy dose of realism. Johnson stated, “Tyreeek would regretfully not be able to stay with our Grand Slam track racers.”

During his own appearance on “SportsCenter” on Friday, Hill was questioned concerning Johnson’s remarks. The Miami Dolphins player, who referred to the four-time Olympic gold medallist as a GOAT, shown nothing but admiration.

Tyreek Hill argued that it might not look like but they really are quick in NFL. Hill didn’t retreat from his assertions either:

I feel like I can beat anybody in the world. Baby, I’m the cheetah, I’m the one and only. You feel me? My kids tell me that every morning ‘Daddy! You’re the fastest person in the world.’ That makes me feel good. So guess what, I’mma keep telling the world I’m the fastest man in the world until I race one of those guys, which I’ll never do.”

Hill said that when it came to selecting opponents, he adopted Floyd Mayweather’s philosophy. He would never actually compete against the track and field stars in order to maintain his title as the “fastest man.” Even still, Hill has made it clear that he would like to compete against retired sprint legend Usain Bolt in the 40-yard dash, even though we all know such confrontation will not occur.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (10) runs onto the field during pregame ceremonies of an NFL game against the Las Vegas Raiders at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Nov. 19, 2023.

In his confidence, Hill is not alone. Additionally endorsing Hill, NFL commentator Shannon Sharpe said that in a quick dash earlier in May, he could defeat THE USAIN BOLT. But Bolt’s response to that assertion was legendary.
