‘Hawk Tuah’ seems to have been the buzzword of the past week on the internet, and it’s safe to assume that the show’s star, Hailey Welch, has been making the most of her temporary celebrity.
Her rise to fame started when she was interviewed on the street by YouTubers Tim and Dee TV. Her witty and candid comments immediately racked up millions of views. Welch talked candidly about the rapid changes in her life since her video went viral in a recent edition of the podcast “Plan Bri Uncut,” which is hosted by Bryan’s fiancée Brianna Lapaglia.
She dispelled many misunderstandings by stating that she is not a preacher’s daughter nor a teacher. Actually, Welch works in her hometown of Belfast, Tennessee, at a spring manufacturer. Welch was caught off guard by the sudden success of the video. The Hawk Tuah Girl said,
“It was massive,” . “I thought it was just a funny moment, but then the views kept skyrocketing. I couldn’t believe it.”
The humor in Welch’s sudden celebrity has been welcomed by her family. She said, “They find it hilarious.” “They are aware of my erratic behavior. It was captured on camera this time.”
To what extent has Hawk Tuah Girl made money?
Welch rapidly came to an agreement with Fathead Threads, a nearby clothes store, and has been selling branded apparel through them ever since.
Distractify claims that as of about June 26, she had already sold at least $65,000 worth of hats alone. Her net worth and the percentage of those sales are still unknown.
Not to mention the hats with leather patches that sold quickly for $50 and the T-shirts she signed.
