It’s no secret that Michael Jordan and Anthony Edwards are frequently compared. But it’s not only because of his style of play. There are a lot of memories of Michael Jackson in his carefree, yet enigmatic manner. On occasion, some people have opted to condemn the player for this.
But contrary to popular belief, Draymond Green clarified, his personality is more significant.
Edwards’ brilliance has made him a star on every squad he has played for. But skill is never enough to achieve greatness on its own. Despite his young age of 22, the Minnesota Timberwolves guard appears to be quickly ascending to the status of all-time great.
Draymond Green speaks about Anthony Edwards behaviour
If Green is right, Ant-Man’s self-confidence is the reason behind all of this. He stated on The Draymond Green Show, his podcast,
“He [Edwards] is confident as hell. And very close to cocky. But if you understand anything about greatness, you got to be very close to cocky in order to be great at anything. Because the belief is actually one of the things that separate you. Because most people can’t reach that level of belief in themselves. And so having that belief and being a little cocky is actually what separates him!”
Yes, in fact. If someone thinks something will never happen, it probably won’t, in any field. But there is a road to greatness wherever there is self-belief.
Edwards may have had a clear route in that regard for some time now. After all, he had been self-assured for a considerable amount of time, as he once explained.
