Kevin Durant Gives Anthony Edwards a New Nickname and Its Hillarious

Anthony Edwards, a standout player for the Minnesota Timberwolves, had his first opportunity to shine at an Olympic Games in Paris. Anthony Edwards was soon a game-highlight thanks to his remarkable performances and funny arrival. Edwards made a substantial contribution to Team USA’s fifth consecutive gold medal.

Edwards was recently photographed in New York City at “Fanatics Fest” with Kevin Durant and Jalen Rose. The young player drew admiration from the Suns great, who couldn’t help but say so. As their meeting at the event came to an end, Durant awarded Edwards a new moniker in recognition of his emerging stardom in the sport.

Durant said, “Man, I call him the baby GOAT. You know what I mean,”

For the young guard, who had looked up to Durant since he was a young boy, the combination of Durant and Edwards on the court was a dream come true. They had a great working relationship as they guided Team USA to victory. Edwards turned in one of his best performances, and Durant emerged as the team’s top scorer.
