NFL player Marlon Humphrey was enraged by Simon Biles and Jordan Chiles’ display of Olympic sportsmanship when they bowed to Rebeca Andrade.
Humphrey, the standout cornerback for the Baltimore Ravens, leaped on X to scold Biles and Chiles after the two American gymnasts were defeated by Andrade of Brazil in Monday’s floor finals.
After finishing second and third, respectively, Biles and Chiles were later seen bending down to take the gold medal from Andrade.
Humphrey posted a picture of the three players together with the biting one-liner, “This is literally disgusting,” in his post on X. It was obvious that he didn’t like to bow to the Brazilian.

Simone Biles talks about her bowing down
On “TODAY” on Tuesday morning, Biles justified herself by stating that she doesn’t care whether she wins or loses and that it’s all about sportsmanship.
She continued by saying that she will always give her rivals her support because “you have to give them their flowers” and they put in just as much effort as she does. As she and Jordan did, Biles said, they were delighted for Andrade, who she believed deserved the gold.
It’s important to note that Andrade has had three knee injuries in her professional life. Humphrey, meantime, came under fire on social media as users weighed in on the dispute, with the majority of them siding with Biles and Chiles.
