A trailer for the Shaquille O’Neal-produced Amazon Prime series, titled The Money Game, dropped on Thursday, giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the 2023-24 athletic season at one of the nation’s most competitive schools.
‘On July 1, 2021 the NIL rule changed. That’s the day my life changed,’ Dunne said.
‘The more eyes you got on you, the more people are gonna try to tear you down,’ the 21-year-old gymnast went on.
‘I remember saying that I wanted to be done, but winning is addicting.’
The national champion recently confirmed she will return to LSU this fall for a fifth year, while raking in millions from her social media presence and dozens of brand deals.
‘No matter how many opportunities come my way off the mat, there’s just something about LSU. And that’s why I’m here to say, I’m not done yet,’ she recently told her 5.3 million Instagram followers.
Elsewhere in the trailer, Reese was seen talking to the camera after she led the team to their first ever national championship in 2023.
‘I get a lot of inappropriate comments,’ she revealed, before adding, ‘I don’t have to tell you guys everything going on in my life.’
Her teammate, Flau’jae Johnson, also got candid about the benefits of being able to profit from NIL.
‘I love the game [but] I can also take care of my family for generations,’ she explained.
