It’s no secret that anyone connected to the Green Bay Packers has a natural ability to disparage the Chicago Bears. Former Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb has joined in on the fun, laughing at Chicago’s prospects of having a successful season, following Aaron Rodgers’ declaration a few days earlier that he was happy to see the Bears lose.
Cobb recently pleased the Cheeseheads with a vitriolic tirade directed at his former division rivals. The former wide receiver is not buying it despite Chicago’s outstanding offseason, which was highlighted by the significant signing of Caleb Williams, and the subsequent excitement around the Bears as possible NFC North contenders.
Regarding the Bears’ chances this season, Cobb mocked Chicago’s numerous miserable seasons by claiming that no matter who they sign, they will always be a “joke.” Randall said,
“They were a joke for a long time. And I think they’ll continue to be a joke,”
Fans react to Randall Cobb’s Trolling of Bears
Because of the strong fan base ties between the two groups, Randall’s remarks went viral very fast. Bears fans are still optimistic that this season’s performance will silence Cobb and the Cheeseheads, despite Packers fans applauding their seasoned wide out.
Randall knows what’s up.
