It’s possible that Shaquille O’Neal would have been just as dominant in the NFL as he was in the NBA.
The 7-foot-1-inch, 325-pound center, who spent his 19-year NBA career playing for six different clubs, recently discussed what position he would have played if he had pursued an NFL career.
Comedian Kountry On his show, Wayne inquired about Shaquille O’Neal’s interest in playing football and he revealed that he had played tight end in the past.
Comedian Kountry Wayne asked, “In what role did you participate?”
Shaq said, “I was a tight end.” ““And I thought about going to the NFL, but then my father came home one day, and he hit me in the back of the head with this paper.”
Shaq originally wanted to play Tight-End in the NFL but ultimately decided to play basketball because the NBA paid better.

Shaq continued by saying that the newspaper had featured an Atlanta athlete by the name of Jo Koncak. Shaq mentioned that he inked a three-year, $15 million contract.
Shaq said he moved from football to basketball because he didn’t think he had enough, and he began to apply his football brutality to the sport.
