Tom Brady’s Decision to Be Roasted Bemused Matt Damon

Even though Tom Brady‘s roast was a huge hit, many people didn’t get why the three-time MVP would put himself through that. The comedian touched on some extremely delicate subjects while dissecting his entire existence. Brady’s decision remains incomprehensible to many fans, including Matt Damon, despite the fact that Netflix paid him generously.

In the most recent episode of Rich Eisen Show, Matt Damon made a visit to discuss his thoughts on Brady’s Roast. The actor from Jason Bourne disclosed that he had planned to attend the function but was unable to do so, so he provided a voiceover.

As a fan, he enjoys a good roast, but he doesn’t understand why people participate in these kinds of activities.

He argued that he wouldn’t want his loved ones to openly criticize and expose the unpleasant aspects of his life. Even though he had a great time at the event, he did note that there were moments when it became uncomfortable, particularly when they showed off Tom’s unclean clothing. Matt said,

“The roasting culture, as fun as it is to watch, I never understand why people do it. I don’t want to hear a bunch of my friends get up and rip me apart in public. But it was a lot of fun but it’s kind of a blue room, it touches on stuff, it can get a little cringy but I had a lot of fun with it.”

Due to a scheduling conflict, Matt was unable to attend the roast; nevertheless, his best friend Ben Affleck was there, although with a lackluster performance.

Damon, a lifetime Pats supporter, has previously stated that he is more loyal to Brady. When Tom joined the Bucs and they won the Super Bowl, he applauded for the three-time MVP and the team.
