Travis Scott was freed from detention on Saturday without facing any charges, according to French prosecutors. “The police custody order for Travis Scott has been lifted and all proceedings (against him) were terminated because the incident was minor,” the prosecutor’s office in Paris stated in a statement.
According to a statement from the Paris prosecutor’s office, Scott was taken into custody early on Friday after police were called to the Georges V hotel to hold a man “nicknamed Travis Scott for violence against a security guard.” The rapper and his bodyguard were fighting, and the hotel security guy had broken up the fight.

The rapper was attending the Olympics in Paris. On Thursday night, he witnessed the United States defeat Serbia in the men’s basketball semifinal.
