Fans of the Jets will adore this. According to Brett Favre, New York will contend for an AFC Championship this season—as long as Aaron Rodgers remains healthy, according to TMZ Sports.
Before New York’s season opener against the San Francisco 49ers, Favre gushed over his old buddy, telling us he genuinely thinks the future Hall of Famer is still “arguably the greatest playmaker in the game right now.”
Favre asserted that he can fix anything that goes wrong around Aaron, which is something that New York teams have never been good at over the years.

According to the former quarterback: “For lack of a better term,” “he can make chicken salad out of chicken s*** pretty quickly.”
Of course, it remains to be seen if Rodgers can maintain his health. He barely made it through a few snaps the previous season before his Achilles gave out, after all. However, the 40-year-old quarterback said to the press last week that he was in high spirits and that he anticipated “greatness” in 2024.
There are just a few hours left before Rodgers can establish his worth. In Northern California, “Monday Night Football” kickoff is scheduled at 5:15 PM PT.
