Diddy Forms New Team for 3rd Bail Attempt

Diddy is reportedly assembling a formidable legal team in an attempt to fulfill his second attempt to secure his release on bond, two weeks after his initial arrest.

The rapper’s attorney has filed an appeal against the most recent order refusing him bond, according to new court records. This will be the rapper’s third official attempt to get out of jail as he awaits trial.

The rapper has expanded his legal team to include two additional attorneys, Anthony Ricco and Alexandra Shapiro, according to people close to Diddy.

According to reports, Tony is regarded as one of the best trial attorneys in the nation, while Alexandra is among the top appellate attorneys working today.

It seems that Diddy is creating a version of his own ideal squad. On September 16, federal authorities detained Diddy at the Park Hyatt New York hotel in Midtown Manhattan. He was charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution at his arraignment the following day.

Six months after federal officials raided Diddy’s houses in Miami and Los Angeles as part of an investigation into sex trafficking, he was arrested. The seven-parent father has refuted the accusations made against him in many legal lawsuits as well as this one.

After the rapper entered a not guilty plea, Marc Agnifilo, his attorney, subsequently declared that the music producer is “an innocent man with nothing to hide.” Despite the A-lister’s lawyer’s assurance that Diddy would post a $50 million bail package and not allow any female visitors—apart from family—if the judge let him to stay in his Miami mansion while the case proceeded, Diddy has been refused bail.

Nevertheless, following the hearing of arguments from the prosecution and defense, U.S. District Judge Andrew Carter denied Diddy’s bail request, stating that “the government has proven the defendant is a danger.”
