Who is Michelle, the woman Shannon Sharpe was having the intimate moment with, has been the talk of the internet ever since his Instagram Live incident? Apart from her name, nobody knows who she is, and the Hall of Famer wants it that way.
Cam Newton, a former player for the Panthers and Patriots, pressed Sharpe to identify the mystery woman in the most recent episode of the Nightcap podcast. At Michelle’s request, he said, he doesn’t plan to share any more information about her. He declared:
“Michelle would like to remain anonymous. I swore that her anonymity would be protected… That’s something that I’m going to take to my grave.”
The woman was supposedly Sharpe’s ex-girlfriend Michele Bundy. She was eliminated from the story, nevertheless, by his admission later on. Laughingly, Snoop Dogg joined in the fun, telling the analyst to play some R&B or “sensual” music in the foreground the next time and keep the “massacre” in the background.
While Sharpe was a good sport about the jokes, he was obviously exhausted by the conclusion of the show and expressed his desire to remain nameless rather than be identified as the woman in the video: “I wish I could have the anonymity that Michelle have – just name only. But unfortunately, people know who Shannon is and they know Shannon Sharp’s face.”
The analyst has so far been able to deflect inquiries regarding Michelle’s identification. To follow her wishes, though, the Hall of Famer will have to keep working tirelessly by herself. He’s clinging to his secret and his job at ESPN, but his situation is becoming precarious.
