Running back Tyler Badie had to be stretchered off the field after collapsing on the sideline during the Denver Broncos‘ game against the New York Jets on Sunday. It was a terrifying scene.
Badie was hit in the back by Jets linebacker Quincy Williams, causing a fumble that was recovered by the home team, just before the incident.
Considering that Badie returned to the sidelines, it appeared to be a routine hit. But when the commercial concluded, he was lying on his back receiving medical attention.

According to the transmission, Badie moved while he was on the ground. The 24-year-old’s health has not been updated since he was loaded into the cart and removed from the field.

In the 2022 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens selected Badie in the sixth round. He was on the Ravens practice squad when he was picked up by the Broncos, and he has been with the team ever since.
Badie has accumulated 86 yards on 11 carries so far this season. He caught the ball twice for negative yardage prior to being sidelined on Sunday.
