Despite having a wrist injury that may end her WNBA career, Angel Reese is still producing highlights. Watch this video from Usher’s Sunday night performance—she momentarily stole the spotlight!
During one of Usher’s major Los Angeles gigs, the Chicago Sky star visited the Intuit Dome. At one point, the R&B icon approached her table and started serenading her. Usher is seen standing in front of the hooper, donning a fur coat and no shirt, while he belts out “There Goes My Baby.”
Reese was beaming, and when Usher gave her the mic, she displayed her vocal range. The audience enjoyed the 22-year-old’s rendition of numerous passages of the popular tune.
She sheepishly noted on her Instagram profile that she wasn’t the biggest lover of her work, though: “Look at my struggling to sing.”
Reese, who was also seen at the Rams game and Jordyn Woods’ lavish birthday celebration earlier on Sunday, had an incredible weekend. She won’t be out of the game for long, of course, as her injury isn’t expected to keep her off the court for very long, but even with her wrist brace on, it’s obvious that she is enjoying her time off.
