After the Dodgers’ World Series victory on Wednesday night, anarchy has erupted in Los Angeles. In terrifying footage from Los Angeles, irrational Dodgers supporters are shown burning cars and robbing shops while wearing clown masks.
Fans took to the streets after the Dodgers defeated the New York Yankees 7–6 on Wednesday night in Game 5. The violent festivities resulted in 12 arrests, according to a report released by the Los Angeles Police Department on Thursday morning.
According to the LAPD, six individuals were taken into custody for commercial burglary, four for receiving stolen property, and two for failing to disperse. “Several dispersal orders have been given,” the LAPD Central Division said on X when the situation was chaotic.
Approximately four miles from Dodger Stadium, the LAPD posted video of robbers wearing clown masks rushing in and out of a shuttered shoe store shortly after 11 p.m.
The crooks were observed hurling sneakers against parked automobiles outside the store and fleeing with Nike products. In frantic video, a single fan, completely nude and covered in blue paint, sprayed the sidewalks surrounding the stadium in the Echo Park neighborhood while police surrounded the area. As the protesters nearby detonated pyrotechnics, another was spotted dancing atop a bus.
Additionally, the LAPD said that at approximately 12:35 am, a “hostile crowd” set an MTA bus on fire approximately one mile from the stadium.
