The UFC CEO didn’t miss a beat when online celebrity Ayman Al Yaman uploaded a video in which he asked Dana White the question that everyone has been wondering about: “What do you do for a living?” White responded with his trademark wit:

I make all kinds of fights for a living”.

White has spent years transforming the UFC into a worldwide phenomenon as the driving force behind the largest MMA promotion in the world. He gave a direct response while also acknowledging the never-ending hustle that has kept the fighters and their supporters interested.

Ayman Al Yaman is a well-known influencer who frequently asks people in his films what they do for a living. It was the UFC President’s turn this time. In response to the same question, White stated: “What do I do for a living? I sell fights for a living. All kinds of fights, I sell all kinds of fights. We’re here in Abu Dhabi and have a fight this weekend.”

In the lead-up to UFC 308, White has been picking fights with people like Francis Ngannou and Donn Davis, mostly. The UFC and PFL’s relationship, which began as one of respect and distance, has recently become somewhat competitive.

When asked about PFL CEO Donn Davis’s assertions that the PFL was outperforming the UFC in specific metrics following the PFL’s “Battle of the Giants,” White didn’t mince words.

With a printout in hand, White arrived ready to compare Power Slap’s and PFL’s statistics. “The PFL should refrain from mentioning the UFC,” he remarked, teasing Davis’s remarks.
