Deion Sanders Is “Praying” for Deshaun Watson

Deshaun Watson was even more troubled by his subpar performance after sustaining an Achilles injury during the Bengals game. Given this, Deion Sanders expressed his hope for the quarterback’s speedy recovery.

Coach Prime expressed his support for the Browns’ much-maligned quarterback on X. He said that he was asking God to grant Watson a quick recovery.

During the second quarter of the October 20 game, Watson was removed from the field. The quarterback hit the ground with a twisted right leg as he was racing down. After more testing, it was discovered that Watson had sustained an Achilles injury, which Kevin Stefanski believes will terminate the season.

Achilles injuries are quite serious, and generally require 10–12 months to recover from surgery. Therefore, Watson’s chances of making a comeback this season are slim to nonexistent. Even Aaron Rodgers, who has specialized training, had to undergo a year of recovery and training before he could play again.

Before he hurt himself, Watson had completed 15 of 17 throws for 128 yards. The supporters don’t appear prepared to show sympathy, even if the problem is serious and will affect the quarterback’s career.
