The Memphis Grizzlies lost the game 123-126 at home yesterday because Ja Morant was unable to play because of pain in his right thigh. The injury has been plaguing the 25-year-old for some time. On X, a Grizzlies supporter shared some thoughts with the NBA player on the news of Morant’s absence.
It’s reasonable if Morant isn’t entirely certain about his fitness for the game, the fan, who goes by the handle “Coach Von,” wrote on social media. He said that playing with Derrick Rose the previous season must have given Morant a lot of advice on how to look after his body.
He expressed faith in the Grizzlies and wished his team luck against the “out of conference opponent.” Although it wasn’t hostile or derogatory, the remark annoyed Morant. Soon after, the Grizzlies star blasted Coach Von with all of his might. He wrote : “i thought it was just i wasn’t hungry nomore or i haven’t taken dat superstar leap as a leader yet, you confusing me von . make up your mind plz,”
Given how much the Grizzlies rely on him, Morant has come under fire for his lackluster leadership abilities. Von went on to say that by engaging in a Twitter feud with Morant, Morant was demonstrating that charge.
I can imagine with all the time spent with D. Rose. Ja got a lot of valuable advice concerning his body. If he feels like he can’t go tonight. I’m cool with that. Out of conference opponent. Guys are playing well. Let’s see if we can pull it out!

“You just proved my point with all this Twitter sh*t,” he wrote. Man, lock in! However, Morant refused to let it go without expressing his thoughts.
