In a surprising turn of events, MLB player Joey Gallo and model Hayden Hopkins have welcomed their baby girl. This news comes after weeks of speculation and rumors surrounding the paternity of the child. Speculation was rife as many believed that Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis was the father, but Hopkins has vehemently denied these wild claims.
The couple have chosen to keep their relationship private. However, the birth of their baby girl has suddenly thrust them into the public eye. Fans and followers have been eagerly waiting for updates on the pregnancy, and Hopkins’ denial of Mark Davis’s involvement only added fuel to the fire.
Now that the truth is out, Gallo and Hopkins can focus on their new bundle of joy.
Hopkins, a 27-year-old Cirque du Soleil performer, announced the pair’s happy news on Sunday night, sharing an adorable photo of the bundle of joy in a sweet white crocheted outfit with purple bows.
‘Capulet Lilac Gallo. Heaven on earth, arrived a few days ago,’ Hopkins wrote.
The Washington Nationals star has yet to publicly address the family’s new addition but Hopkins previously said that both she and Gallo, 30, were excited to welcome their baby together in the fall.
Capulet arrived five months after Hopkins was forced to deny that Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis was not the father.
Following her pregnancy announcement back in May, she had to beat back rumors that the NFL owner was the father of her unborn child.
Hopkins was seen on camera sitting next to Davis, 69, in the VIP section of an NFL at a game at Allegiant Stadium in Vegas in December 2022, sparking romance rumors.
At the time, the performer posted a photo from her seat but later outlined she was simply friends with Davis, and nothing more.
It then emerged that Gallo, a utility man for the Washington Nationals, was in fact the father of Capulet, with TMZ reporting that it was a planned pregnancy.
Hopkins took to social media in May to lash out at those who are continuing to fuel rumors of a romance between her and the Raiders owner, accusing them of ruining what should be the happiest time in her life.
‘Reports of Mark Davis being the father of my child are wildly untrue,’ Hopkins wrote.
‘I was pictured sitting next to him at a game in 2022 and have endured false rumors of a romantic relationship since.
‘I was just a guest sitting in the owner’s box with other friends. These continued media stories are negatively affecting what should be my happiest days.
‘Joey and I are excited to welcome our baby in the fall xx’.
